Griggs was quick to downplay her accomplishments choosing to credit her teammates for the big victory. She believes when multiple teammates are involved the team is at its strongest.

Down 25 12 to begin the second half, Mead came out and made an attempt to spark its offense. Trailing 29 12 Rylee Ward and Marina Hanlon hit back to back 3's. After that though, Mead's offense again went cold.

In the first quarter, the scoreboard was quiet early as neither team could get shots to fall. The senior had six of Mead's eight first quarter points and was effective early on grabbing rebounds and drawing fouls.
"[Windsor] had something to prove after we beat them at our place, Mead head coach Mike Ward said. "They had a chip on their shoulder and we didn't come out and compete at the same level as they did tonight."

"When we don't gel as five we don't win," Griggs said. "We've found out in the second half of the season that the "team" wins games."
